This bundle is made for the original first gen PS2. I own the smaller second generation PS2. The remote control works pretty well though, I am enjoying not having a cord strung across the room, and trying to remember which button on the controller does what. The range is really good. I can stand about 15ft away and still control the PS2 (didn't test any farther). The remote and receiver I got shipped doesn't look like the picture. The remote has a few more buttons (like a square, triangle and circle) and the receiver is a little bigger with a throughput. The only troubles I'm having with the remote is the pause button; I can't just press it, I have to rapid click it to get the DVD to pause. I really like the power button on the remote; press to turn on, hold to turn off.

turns the PS2 into a remote controlled DVD player
can power PS2 on/off remotely
remote has menu, power, subtitle, and sound buttons
pretty cheap considering the functionality
Cons:
made for first gen PS2
stand DOES NOT fit second gen PS2
eject button does nothing
Would I buy again? If you use your PS2 for watching DVDs, YES!
